Your car isn’t standard. Your claim shouldn’t be either.

Supercars, ultra-luxury cars and custom builds don’t fit the standard claims process. After a crash, protecting yourself, your health and your car gets complicated fast: the repairs, the parts, your modifications, your injuries, and the value your car loses just by having an accident on its record. We know what these cars are worth, and we fight until your claim reflects it.

We get it

These cars are built with precision. They should be repaired that way.

The options you chose. The work you’ve put into it. The way it’s supposed to sound, feel and drive. After a crash, the insurer sees a claim number and a repair estimate. You see a car that has to come back exactly right: the right shop, the right parts, and the same feel behind the wheel. And sometimes the right answer isn’t a repair at all. When a car can’t truly be made whole, the fight is over what it was really worth, not the insurer’s first number.

That’s where we come in. We protect you and your investment, and we push until the repair, the parts and the payout match what you actually lost.

Why these claims are different

A $300,000 car doesn't fit a $25,000 claim process

Insurance claim systems are built for everyday cars. High-end cars break those assumptions in six places, and each one can cost the owner real money if nobody pushes back.

Diminished value

A repaired supercar with an accident on its history is worth less than one without. Georgia law recognizes diminished value claims, and on high-end cars the loss can dwarf the deductible.

Repairs, parts and certified shops

Factory repair procedures, certified collision networks, OEM parts and months-long lead times. Insurers push for cheaper and faster. Your car needs it done right.

Modifications and custom builds

Wheels, wraps, PPF, tunes, custom interiors and full builds are often limited or excluded unless they were scheduled. Proving their value takes documentation and a fight.

Repair, or replace?

Sometimes a car shouldn’t be patched back together. When it can’t be restored to factory standard, the claim becomes about its true value. Rare and highly optioned cars have few real comparables, and agreed-value policies pay very differently.

Underinsured drivers

Georgia's minimum property-damage coverage is $25,000 per accident. When the at-fault driver can't cover your car, the claim moves to other coverage and other parties.

Loss of use and rentals

A comparable replacement for an exotic isn't a midsize sedan. With long repair times, loss of use can be a significant part of the claim.

Right after a crash

What to do before you talk to any insurer

  1. People first, then evidence

Get medical help if anyone needs it. Call the police for a report. Photograph the scene, both cars and the damage, and save dashcam and phone video.

  2. Don't give away the claim

Don't admit fault, give a recorded statement to the other driver's insurer, or sign a release or repair authorization you haven't read. Report the crash to your own insurer as your policy requires.

  3. Call Zeb early

Before the car goes to a shop the insurer picks, and before anyone puts a number on its value. The first decisions shape everything that follows. 404-771-8668.

Cars & Creators

We know these cars, and these claims

Cars & Creators is our series on the legal side of supercars, luxury cars and the creators who film them.

We understand why the right shop matters, what a build is worth and why “good as new” isn’t the same as making you whole. Our entertainment practice adds something most accident firms don’t have: deep experience with creators, content shoots and brand deals, where borrowed cars, loaners and filmed drives raise their own questions about who pays.

  • Owners and collectors of supercars, ultra-luxury and custom builds
  • Creators and productions filming borrowed or loaned cars
  • Drivers and passengers injured in high-end vehicle crashes
  • Damage at dealers, body shops, valet and during transport

Questions

Exotic and luxury car accident questions

Can I recover diminished value after my exotic or luxury car is repaired in Georgia?

Georgia law recognizes diminished value claims. A car with an accident on its history often sells for less than the same car without one, even after a perfect repair, and on a high-end car that gap can be large. Insurers often use formulas that undervalue it, so an independent appraisal and a documented claim usually matter.

The other driver only has minimum insurance and my car is worth far more. What now?

Georgia's minimum property-damage liability coverage is $25,000 per accident, which may not cover a single panel on some cars. The options can include your own collision coverage, uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage, other parties who share responsibility, and the at-fault driver personally. Which applies depends on the policies and the facts.

Who decides where my car is repaired and which parts are used?

You generally choose the repair shop, even if an insurer suggests one. Many exotic and ultra-luxury brands use certified collision repair networks and factory repair procedures, and parts can take weeks or months to arrive. Disputes over OEM parts, certified shops and repair methods are some of the most common fights in high-end claims.

Are my modifications and custom work covered?

It depends on the policy. Standard auto policies often limit coverage for custom parts and equipment unless they were scheduled or endorsed. Wheels, wraps, paint protection film, performance tunes, custom interiors and full builds should be documented with receipts, build sheets and photos so their value can be proved.

Can I have my car replaced instead of repaired?

Sometimes. The insurer usually decides at first whether to repair a car or declare it a total loss, and on high-end cars it often prefers a repair. That decision can be challenged when the car can’t truly be restored to factory standard, for example after structural, carbon or safety-system damage. Some policies also include new-car replacement or agreed-value coverage. Which applies depends on the damage, the policy and who was at fault.

What is my car worth if the insurer says it's a total loss?

That depends on whether your policy pays actual cash value or an agreed or stated value, and on how the value is calculated. Rare, limited and highly optioned cars have few true comparables, so insurer valuations are often worth challenging. Many policies include an appraisal process for valuation disputes.

Do I get a comparable rental while my car is in the shop?

Loss of use is often part of the claim, but what's recoverable depends on the policy and on whether you're claiming against the at-fault driver. With long parts lead times on high-end cars, the rental or loss-of-use question can be worth real money.

I was injured too. Does that change things?

Yes. Your health comes first, and injury claims are separate from the car. They have their own evidence, coverage and deadlines, and they shouldn't be settled as an afterthought to the repair.

How long do I have to bring a claim in Georgia?

Generally two years for personal injury and four years for damage to property, but insurance policies have their own, often much shorter, notice and proof-of-loss deadlines. Talk to a lawyer early, before you give a recorded statement or sign a release.

General information about Georgia law, not legal advice for your situation. Every claim depends on its facts and the policies involved, and past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
